The coming election is a very important one, both on the national level and the local level.
Those who are eligible to vote but are not registered have until Oct. 14 to do so. Registration forms can be obtained at the Election Board in the Somerset County Administration Building across from the courthouse on Grove Street in Somerville, telephone number 908-231-7084, as well as the Hillsborough municipal building. Voters who have moved since they last voted must file a change of address form which can be accomplished using the new registration forms.
It is important to note that only those who are presently United States citizens are eligible to register and vote.
Here in Hillsborough we have two excellent candidates for the Township Committee: Matt Dawson and Manny Foranoce.
Register and select your choice but register by Oct. 14.
